Comedy Gives Back

OUR MISSION IS TO CREATE A SAFETY NET FOR COMEDIANS IN NEED

For comedians, being onstage alone is part of the job. Feeling alone offstage is unacceptable. We’re here to help provide comedians with mental health, medical, and crisis support.

The intent of this fund is to provide approved applicants with a one-time grant to minimize financial hardships caused by COVID-19

While many people can work from home, this is not an option for comics. If you’ve had gigs canceled due to this pandemic, we’re here to help.

The intent of this fund is to provide approved applicants with a one-time grant to minimize financial hardships caused by COVID-19. These modest grants are meant to give immediate relief to stand-up comics who have lost gigs and income due to recent shutdowns.

Small grants of up to $500 will be paid rapidly on a first-come, first-served basis to affected comedians.

Please see grant guidelines below.

In order to qualify:

  • You must have been a working comedian for at least one year
  • Have made a minimum of $12,000 and no more than $70,000, as a stand-up comedian
  • Can show proof of recently canceled shows.
