Americans for the Arts (AFTA)

Americans for the Arts (AFTA) is a national advocacy and industry association for the nonprofit arts sector. Their mission is to build recognition and support for the extraordinary and dynamic value of the arts and to lead, serve, and advance the diverse networks of organizations and individuals who cultivate the arts in America.

AFTA provides guidance in arts-specific asks to congressional representatives, with a template message and easy-to-use forms for sending.

Americans for the Arts (AFTA) provides guidance in advocating to your representatives in Congress regarding COVID-19 relief funding.

Along with dozens of national arts organizations and state arts alliances, AFTA has signed a joint statement outlining a set of policy asks that they are taking to every member of Congress. Those policy requests are embedded in messages that you can send to your congressional delegation. They are customized for your House and Senate members and available to edit and send directly from forms on the site.
