The Sustainable Arts Foundation supports artists and writers with children. We make annual unrestricted cash awards to individuals; at least half of these awards are made to applicants of color. We also support artist residencies in their efforts to make their programs more family friendly.

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and we hope you are all safe and healthy.

Please note that at this time, the Sustainable Arts Foundation does not have the capacity to offer COVID-19 emergency funds.

There are individual unrestricted cash awards to artists and writers with children.

This year, we will make awards of $5,000 each to twenty artists and writers. Additionally, we will name twenty finalists. https://www.sustainableartsfoundation.org/awards/
