STUDIO COYOTE CLASSES

Studio Coyote runs yearround, following Seattle Public Schools’ schedule. During the winter, spring, and fall you’ll find an abundance of 20-hour weekend sessions as well as weeklong sessions over breaks. Summer is packed full of weekly, 20-hour courses and runs June – August.

This is your chance to engage in virtual face-to-face time using the ZOOM platform and be led through traditional Coyote icebreakers, demonstrations, discussions, and reflections. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with your instructor and your peers “real-time” during that daily two hours. At the end of the 2 hour-long, interactive ZOOM session, you’ll be assigned 1-1.5 hours of creative project work that you’ll be expected to complete independently prior to your next ZOOM session. You’ll also have the opportunity to submit daily progress checks that your instructor will respond to directly. Instructors will incorporate technique, critique, and interactive teaching in each session. It’ll look JUST like a Studio Coyote class, only your friends will be on your screen and your art will be in your home!

In addition to any materials listed for particular sessions (noted in each class description), students will need: Computer with video/audio functionality, tablet, or smartphone for utilizing Zoom.
